Each rig now utilizes V-Ray only shaders making them faster & more memory friendly. Release 1.4 is also made with simplicity in mind, no matter which level of experience you are at, with this new tool set you can create photorealistic studio renders right from the get go.

Similar to most render engines in the industry today, the latest builds of V-Ray feature a quick Interactive Progressive Renderer, Studio Tools 1.4 is built around and with interactivity in mind. Combining both the interactive workflow (CPU or GPU) and high quality light setups and rigs will greatly increase your studio lighting momentum, take advantage of IPR and start playing with Studio Tools right out of the box.
Built around the Viewport
Each rig has been made with the user experience in mind, Soft-Boxes can provide an accurate C4D viewport visualization of V-Ray lights , and the HDRI rig allows you to see your HDRI texture in the viewport while the Physical sky rig uses C4D’s built in Sky object to provide a preview for V-Ray’s Physical Sky.
