Hi Josef,
Thanks for your useful Tips. I have a question. Do you know if it is possible to assign these Multishader to the leafs of a tree to get more variations within the leafs of one tree?
Something like a instance-Multi-Shader or so…

You mean like multipl textures to be scattered around the poly-groups ? i don’t know if a way to do it without third party plugins for it
Hi Josef,
Thanks for the video. i guess i figured something out while trying this tip.
in the video, first you added “Layered” shader from the list of Vrayshader and set the alpha 1.
Instead of this, in diffuse channel, i set the color black (or brightness 0%) and then selected the “Multi” shader from the Vrayshader list. and got the same result.
i just wonder why you first seleceted the “Layered” shader?
thanks in advance.

Hi , i actually worked with it the way the official example files where posted , when i tried the normal way ( without changing the brightness ) my textures didn’t get picked up , thanks for the tip , ill make sure to test that as well
very useful , thanks a lot !
Hi Josef,
thanks for this tutorial.
Like all the others you made this on e is really helpful.
I was just wondering if there is a way to assign multiple textures randomly, either by object or by material ID
Kind alike the MultiTexture Map in max?
That would be really awsome!
thx again!
